Here's a happy birthday card for the man in your life!
Marina Mist card stock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2"
Daffodil Delight card stock 5 1/2 x 1 1/2"
5 leftover pieces of patterned papers at least 1 1/2 x 2" in size
Coordinating patterned paper at least 3 x 3"
Whisper White card stock 3 x 3"
Extra large oval punch (#119859)
Large oval punch (#119855)
On Your Birthday(#111664) stamp set
Summer Smooches Fabric Designer brads (#125409)
Marina Mist marker
alphabet stamp set (I used Shelli's Signature Collection alphabet #115199)
Petite Pennants Builder (#122361) punch
embroidary floss
1. Punch 5 pennants out of your leftover piece of cardstock.
2. Stamp your letters on each pennant to spell "happy."
3. Lay the embroidary floss loosely across the top of the card. Put adhesive on the backs of each pennant and lay with the top edge overlapping the embroidary floss. Wrap the extra floss around to the back.
4. Stamp and punch your "happy birthday" greeting out and mount it on the larger oval punch out.
5. Attach it to the center of the Daffodil Delight cardstock and add your brad near the top.
6. Adhere this to the Marina Mist card background.
7.Use your Marina Mist marker to make dashes and dots around the edge of the Daffodil Delight and around the edge of each pennant.
8. Adhere to your card base and stamp or write your greeting on the inside.
