No Place Like Gnome Hybrid Card

Here is another hybrid card. This card is so cute that your friends won't believe how easy it is!
Materials needed:
No Place Like Gnome digikit from Daisy Trails
Bermuda Bay card stock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2"
Stampin' Dimensionals
White card stock
Black pen

1. Print out 2 copies of the mushroom house, one of two different mushrooms and the birthday greeting from the Gnome digikit. Cut out one mushroom house and the other items. On the second mushroom house, cut out the roof and chimney mushrooms from the other house.
2. Draw a line to look like a horizon across the card stock at about 2 1/2" from the bottom. Adhere the mushroom house to the Bermuda Bay card stock.
3. Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the mushroom roof and chimney and the extra mushrooms. Place the roof on top of the roof on the house and the chimney one on top of the chimney. This gives them a more dimensional look.
4. Place the extra mushrooms in front of the house or to the side.
5. Place dimensionals on the back of 3 corners of the greeting label. Do not place one on the bottom right side of the label. Adhere the label tothe top left side of the card, allowing the corner without a dimensional to overlap the roof.
6. Adhere the card front to the card base and send a fun message to a friend.

Best Wishes Well

This card is fun & easy to make. It's simply putting layers of the same thing on to give it more dimension.
Material needed:
No Place Like Gnome
Fizzy Moon Occasions both from Daisy  Trails digi kits
Marina Mist card stock 4 1/4 x  5 1/2"
Green card stock 3 x 4 1/4"
Best Wishes stamp
Midnight Muse ink
Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)

1. Tear off a ragged edge of the green card stock to be about 2 3/4" tall. Adhere it to the bottom of the Marina Mist card stock.
2. Print off 3 copies of the wishing well found in No Place Like Gnome digi kit or find another graphic that you like. Cut out one image and cut all of the white areas out. Adhere it directly to the green and blue card stock.
3. Cut out the rock part of the well and the roof of the well from your second graphic. Then cut out a third roof of the well. When cutting the rock part, cut off the back section of the well from the front. This will give it more depth. Place Stampin'  Dimensionals on the back of the rock and adhere it on top of the rock wall that is already adhered to the card stock.
4. Put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the roof section and adhere it to the roof of the well already adhere to the card stock. Add dimensionals to the third roof and place it directly on top of the second roof.
5. Print two sets of the chickens from the Occasions digi kit. Cut out two of each. Adhere on directly to the card front. Place dimensionals on the back of the others and place them on top of the first ones.
6. Cut out one bucket from the well graphics and add dimensionals to the back of it. Place it on the bucket hanging from the well rope.
7. Stamp a "best wishes" greeting on white card stock with Midnight Muse ink. Cut it out and adhere it to the top left side of the card.
Adhere the card front to a card back and add your message to the inside.

Hybrid Easter Bunny

I recently discovered www.daisytrail.com. At this sight, you can find loads of cute digital items for cards & scrapbooking. You can also get the Serif Craft Artist program for free. They do have a more complete program for sale but the freebee is a good start. They also have several digikits for free. When you download the program, they also give you a voucher for $10  of free stuff.

Here is the card that I made tonight.
Materials needed:
Serif Craft Artist program
FM Occasions digikit
White card stock
Certainly Celery card stock 5 1/2 x 8 1/4"
Afternoon Picnic patterned paper (#131390) 4 x 5 1/4" plus
Pool Party card stock 2 x 4"
Melon Mambo card stock 1 1/2 x 3 1/2"
Windows Frames die set
Corner Rounder
Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)

1. Using the Craft Artist program, choose a bear from the FM Occasions digikit. Move it the to project area and size. Use the font that comes with the digikit to make your greeting. Print them on white card stock and then cut them out.
2. Score and fold  the Certainly Celery card stock at 4 1/4." Adhere the patterned paper to it.
3. Adhere the Pool Party card stock next about 3/8" from the bottom of the card.
4. Use your Big Shot machine to cut out 2 of the window dies that will fit on top of each other. Use the patterned paper for this. I made the reverse side the larger window and then the same side as the background paper for the smaller one. Adhere both of these pieces on to the card front. The wisteria checked window will overlap the pool party card stock. Then adhere the smaller one on top of it.
5. Adhere the Melon Mambo card stock on the Pool Party card stock. This time you will overlap the bottom of the window die cut piece slightly.
6. Cut out the greeting to measure 1 1/2 x 2 1/2". Round the corners. Adhere this above the Melon Mambo card stock. I let the bottom of the greeting go over onto the Pool Party.
7. Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the Fizzy Moon bear and place on top of the window die cuts.
8. Add a special note to a special child on the inside and you are ready for Easter.
