Red Wolf

Materials needed:
In Wilderness stamp set SU (#120537)
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set SU
Gray card stock 4 1/4 x 5/1/2"
White card stock 4 x 5 1/4", 2"square, small scrap
Red card stock 2 1/4" square
Versa Mark ink pad
Heat tool
Cherry Cobbler embossing powder SU (122949)
Cadmium Red Deep acrylic paint
Cadmium Yellow medium acrylic paint

1. Paint the white card stock like was done here.
2. Emboss the small white square of card stock with the wolf head using Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. Versa Mark ink and a heat tool.
3. Mount the embossed square onto the red card stock square. Use Stampin' Dimensionals or other dimensionals (SU are my favorite) on the dried painted card stock.
4. Stamp  your greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set with Cherry Cobbler ink on white card stock. Punch it out with the Word Window punch.
5. Place two dark red Candy Dots on each side of the greeting and adhere it to the bottom right side of the painted card stock. You can use red brads, if you prefer.
6. Mount the painted card stock on to the gray card stock. Mount this onto a card base and add your own greeting on the inside.
This is a great card for a man.  

Add to your stencil card

Today, I made another multi media card using the acrylic paint with the stencil that I did on Friday. I used Night of Navy card stock for this one with the tree stencil providing a background.

Materials needed:
Acrylic paint
stencil
stipple brush
First Edition patterned paper (#121878) 2 1/4 x 2 3/4"
Gumball Green card stock
White card stock
Gumball Green ink
Candy Dots, Regals (#130932)
Word Window punch (#119857)
Modern Label punch (#119849)
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (#128748)

1. Prepare the card stock with the background design like we did on Friday. Click here to see that. Let it dry.
2. Adhere the patterned paper to the left side of the card stock about 1 inch from the bottom.
3. Stamp the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes on white card stock in Gumball Green ink. Punch this out with the Word Window punch.
4. Punch out a Modern Label punch from Gumball Green card stock. Adhere the white greeting on top of the green modern label. Adhere this to the patterned paper centered near the bottom.
5. Add 2 Candy Dots to give the look of brads to the label.
Adhere the card front to a card base and add your message to the inside.
There are many more ways to dress up this background card stock. Use your imagine and dig into your scrapping and card stash. You can come up with all sorts of things.

A Quck Tip

Good Morning!
David & I went to our TOPS banquet last night. David received a plaque for being the only one in our chapter to receive this KOPS status. KOPS stands for Keep Off Pounds Sensibly. He has reached his weight loss goal. He & I both received certificates for being 1st place in weight loss in the region in our division.

Now for a quick tip. If you look at yesterday's pictures, my work station behind my card really looks a mess. The reason for the is because it is! I buy cheap plastic place mats at Wal-Mart for a $ or less to keep on my work table. Then I don't have to worry about glue, inks or paints getting on my table. When the plastic mat is a mess, I can take it to the sink & give it a good scrubbing. Much easier than trying to clean my table. If I can't get all the glue or whatever off of the mat, then I can just turn it over & use the other side. If it gets too bad, I can just toss it & buy another. Hope that will give you an idea of how to keep your space a little cleaner.
