My dear friend, Cheri Peeples who lives in the same town I do, loves to do tea bag folding. Here is one card that she made and gave to me a few years ago.

I've done a little bit of tea bag folding but generally it's not my "cup of  tea."  Yes, pun intended & dedicated to my s-i-l who loves puns.

Two Days Before Christmas

If you are like me, you are rushing around here, just 2 days before Christmas, trying to get all the last minute things finished. I've had some frustrations with my arm, mainly not being able to do everything that I want to do, but it is healing the way the drs have said it's expected. God just insists that I learn patience. lol

During this special time of year let us all remember what Christmas is all about. While the food, presents and family are all wonderful, the most important thing is still remembering the birth of Christ,our Savior. remember, His hands are the ones that created all the wonderous things of this season.

This card by Crystal Komara was made with the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set (#128048) and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies (#127816). She also did some embossing on the Whisper White cardstock and added some Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to give the card an extra special something.

This card was created by Jennifer Scott. She used the Christmas Postcard stamp (#121428), some of the SU! Christmas patterned paper, a Real Red button and ribbon for this.

One of my many favorites.

The tragedy that occurred this week should never have happened. There should never be a tragedy like this involving our innoccent children. These precious babies did nothing to deserve this. The ones in Columbine, Aurora, and many other places did not deserve this either. I wish I had a way of changing the world so that things like this would not happen but there is only one way to do that. That is by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. If I could do that for you, I would but no one can accept Him except each individual person. Then each person has to practice His love and acceptance himself or herself. It's not something that others can do for you. As long as the evil one is allowed to live in this world, horrible things like this will continue to happen. Come soon, Lord Jesus.

A Hero Party

For our Marine's welcome home party, we made placards to place around the table. Our Marine is just back from basic, but I would wish that all of the military heros coming home from wherever they've been will receive a hearty welcome. Tell our military "thank you" for the sacrifices they have made for our country's freedom.

This is so simple, it can be made with one hand. If you have more than one hand/arm working properly, you can add brads, ribbons & other embellishments to these. We placed one at each plate. Then scattered extras around the table. If your guests didn't take them all home after the party, they can be used on cards or scrapbook pages.

Christmas Angel

The pretty little angel can be used as a decoration, a gift box or treats. It was made with the petal cone die by Michelle Suit. I hope you enjoy this fun angel.

Sunday

As I am typing this it is actually Dec 6 & i'm typing with only my left hand. Please forgive any errors that you find today. This is difficult to do, but i wanted to give you a real time update. I still have a large amt of pain with this but i have been able to start going longer between pain meds. When the drs went in to do the surgery, they found a lot more damage than was expected. While we were on vacation, I had a pretty bad fall into a bathtub & i think that's probably where the extra damage cam from. There was a second tear plus the tendons were pulled away from the bone on each side of the joint. But I am making progress, one day at a time. my hyper personality is having trouble dealing with the healing process. God says slow down & i say ok, but let me get these 6 doz thins done first.

My grandson, Triston, graduated basic training Fri, Dec 7. He is now one of the few, the proud. He's a Marine. I'm proud of him. He has what it takes to be a US Marine! An American hero!

December changes

I had my surgery on my rotator cuff this past Thursday & will not be able to do a lot with my right arm for about 6 weeks & then I'll have 6 weeks of therapy. Prior to this time, I tried to make as many things as I could to be able to post ahead on my blog for you. I have various things of mine through Dec. 7 but after this time, I will have things made or created by other SU! demonstrators. These use some really great SU! products and I hope that the pictures will give you some inspiration so that you will continue to create your own marvelous cards and paper crafts.

I am able to post and schedule items for my blog ahead of time and that's what I've done. I know that for at least 2 wks, I won't even be able to be on my computer to type anything. After that, I'll still be limited in what I do.

I've got a large tear in my rotator cuff and the cortizone shots did not help at all. As of this typing, I have not yet had the surgery but I have confindence that it will all turn out well. It is on my right arm and I am right handed so that will really limit me in the things that I can do for a while. As soon as I am able, I will let you know how things are going. In the meantime, please enjoy the items that I've made ahead and the items that I am posting from other SU! demos.
