Double Fold Panels

Materials needed:
Penny Black stamp set
Watercolor pencils
Blender pen
Tangerine Tango ink
Island Indigo card stock 5 1/2 x 11"
patterned paper 2 pieces 1 7/8 x 3 1/2," 1 pc 2 7/8 x 3 1/2," 4 pc 3/4 x 1 3/4"
White card stock
paper trimmer
score board

1. Cut your card stock and patterned paper the sizes named.
2. Score the card stock all the way down at 2", 4", 7", & 9". Measure 1" from the top and score down to the 1" mark at 1", 5", 6", & 10". Do this on the top. Then flip the card stock around and score it on the other side too.

3. Cut a line from the 1" score to the 5" score and from the 6" score to the 10" score.

4. Fold on the score lines so bend in and out. It's hard to describe so look closely at the picture.

5. Place adhesive on the back of the 1 7/8 x 3 1/2"  patterned paper. Place it on the side panels and the center.

Place adhesive on the back of the 4 small pieces and place them on the top and bottom strips.
6. Stamp the Penny Black images on white card stock. Color them with watercolor pencils or your favorite coloring medium. Cut them out and adhere over the patterned paper. You can stamp a greeting on the solid card stock sections, if you wish. Add small greeting or sayings on the small spaces.

This card can be made in so many colors and patterns. Here is another that I did using Stampin' Up products.
Materials needed:
Daffodil Delight card stock
patterned paper
Secret Gardens stamps and thinlets dies
Bermuda Bay ink
Crushed Curry ink
Primrose Petals ink
a solid green card stock for the stems cut with Secret Gardens dies

These cards will fold up and fit in a regular size envelope. Because of the folds, they will stand on display very easily.
