Directions:

1. Cut paper/cardstock as follows:

Bashful Blue Designer Paper - 8 x 5”

Chocolate Chip cardstock - 8 x 5 ”

A small scrap of Close to Cocoa and Real Red

Basic Black - Use 1” circle punch to cut 1 circle

2. Carefully peel the protective sheet from the magnetic sheet. Then press the cardstock to the magnetic sheet and the Bashful Blue paper to a second sheet.

The Bear

Layer the brown cardstock covered magnetic sheet with the Bear die and the Big Shot pads. Run the sandwiched layers through the Big Shot machine. Punch out the bear. Apply adhesive to the black circle and attach to the back of the bear’s face.

Place the Close to Cocoa over the muzzle area of the bear’s face on the Bear die and the Real Red over the bear’s heart. Layer these and run through the Big Shot. Glue the heart and the muzzle on the front of the bear.

The Clothes

Layer the Bashful Blue Designer Paper covered magnetic sheet on the Beary Essentials Die and the Big Shot pads. Be careful here. This will need to be in the reverse direction of the way the bear was cut. Run the sandwiched layers through the Big Shot machine. Punch out the clothes.

You will be able to attach these to any metal surface, such as a cookie sheet. The magnetic clothes easily fit over and attach to the magnetic bear. These bears can be used for story time, calendar time, math problems or many other activities in the lower elementary grades, day care, Sunday School, etc. Let your imagination run wild with this!
